I really love working from home!
It allows me to provide a comfortable, friendly and welcoming space for my clients to visit, talk through their needs, and also work with me on their web sites, computers, or devices together. I also prefer working from home too as I’m more comfortable, relaxed and can work more efficiently. It also has the aadded bonus of being a stones throw away from my Wife and daughter so I can pop in here and there and see them.
I’ve been working from this premises for the past couple of years, initially in our spare room but since the arrival of our baby daughter in February 2023 I have vacated her room and have moved into a purpose built office in the back garden.

It has overhead and lamp lighting, as well an outside security light for those early dark winter nights, a thermostatic heater and a dehumidifier to keep it consistently comfortable and dry, and I’ve got a kettle and drink supplies to make clients a nice cuppa.

The space can accomodate 1 to 2 people (in addition to myself) and is hard wired with an ethernet connection and WiFi so clients can easily get online.
I’ve endeavoured to make it feel as cosy and welcoming as I can for clients to visit; giving a personal touch that I personally don’t feel typical office environments facilitate; often feeling clinical, sterile and cold.
Before I moved here in 2020, I was working from a static caravan, so this purpose built space very much feels like an upgrade and provides a more conducive environment for offering my Website and Computer services.
Directions to the Office
When you arrive, rather than coming to the front of the house, you’ll see an alley down the side of our neighbour’s house (no. 21 – the neighbour to our left if facing ours). Follow that alley to the end and turn right down the back alley and you’ll see the office.

Give me a knock… I look forward to welcoming you here with a smile and hot drink!
